Rollin' Thunder Ridin' the Rez Poker run
On Thursday Aug. 12 the Pine Ridge Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the "Rollin' Thunder Ridin' the Rez" Poker run. Native American Art will be awarded for prizes. This event is a fundraiser for Pine Ridge Chamber. Entry fees are $30.00, the 1st 75 entries will receive a free t-shirt. The run will begin at 10 am from the Journey Museum in Rapid City, SD. The next stop will be Red Shirt Table then Red Cloud Indian School, Wounded Knee, Sharps Corner then it will conclude at the Pine Ridge Visitor Center 7 miles west of Kyle on BIA Hiway #2. A meal will be provided at the Visitor Center for everyone participating. We hope to make this an annual event so please come join us!

Is this going to be an annual poker run...I'm jazzed about this and only wished I could have discovered this before it was over. I seen an article after the fact in the West River Eagle. Did it go well? I hope so. I'm very interested in this poker run and hope it'll be available next year.
